TEATRO Sí’s POET’S CORNER “Donde Vive La Poesía” is starting the New Year with a special event that brings together the best spoken word artists for an evening of open mic performances in celebration of the beauty of language. We invite everyone to come share at this first event of 2005. Whether you prefer to share your talents or just enjoy listening to diverse works of spoken word then this Open Mic Extravaganza is for you! This lively monthly event, on the second Wednesday of each month, features performances by some of the best poets and reciters in the New York, New Jersey area at the intimate Galeria West Art Gallery in downtown Westfield. Come experience an evening of classic and original prose and poetry along with the passionate sound of Spanish guitars. Join your host, Meriel Martinez Moctezuma and her guest artists and be awakened by new voices and enchanted by the classics! Delight your senses with the sound of poetry with a Latin flair, the strumming of Latin American guitars and the taste of delicious appetizers and refreshments. Reservations are recommended.
