TO
TEATRO SÍ
We welcome you to the 2007-2008 Season with TEATRO SÍ, the premier
Hispanic theatre arts company of New Jersey. We would like to take this
opportunity to thank you for your past patronage as we all celebrate
the diversity of Latin America and Spain through the performing arts.
Since our first inaugural presentation in 2000 and through our current
season the guest artists, volunteers and staff at TEATRO Sí have
had the opportunity to serve the artistic and cultural needs of thousands
of theatre patrons by offering them the experience of live theatrical
productions, presented in both the Spanish and English languages, and
the art of acting with the STUDIO Sí bilingual workshops.
From an evening of Spanish guitars and passionate Flamenco dance and
song from Spain to an invigorating evening of Tango from Argentina and
from a breathtaking evening with the Mestizo Ballet of Colombia to a
night of drama and comedy as created by up and coming playwrights and
actors, a few hours spent with TEATRO Sí promises to enrich and
entertain.
We invite you to share with us the rich cultural diversity that beckons
us all to participate in the magic of the stage at various theatre venues
throughout New Jersey and our soon to come “La Casa de TEATRO
Sí”, our very own special venue where we will be able to
share with our valued audience the best of the arts and where together
we can celebrate, educate, preserve and innovate the rich artistic heritage
of Latin America and beyond.
